The Sixers will get Redick on a one year, $23 million deal. there was speculation as to whether or not Redick would accept a one-year offer at his age. The now 33-year-old Redick was drafted by the Orlando Magic with the 11th overall selection in the 2006 NBA Draft.
Redick has been with the Los Angeles Clippers since 2013, where he has shot 43.9 percent from three point range. He has shot 41.5 percent in his career from long range, posting a career-high 47.5 percent two years ago.
The one year deal is good for both sides, giving Redick a big pay day, while conserving the Sixers cap space for the blockbuster 2018 free agent class.
Redick has expressed his love for Philadelphia in the past, and had a message for Sixers fans following his signing:
Trust the process
