After a report that the Minnesota Vikings were interested in interviewing Eagles QB coach John DeFilippo to be their new offensive coordinator, the rumors became a reality on Thursday following the Birds' Super Bowl LII victory parade.
DeFilippo will replace Pat Shurmur as Vikings OC for next season. Shurmur accepted the call to become the new head coach of the New York Giants.

The 39-year-old coach who played a big role in developing both Carson Wentz and Nick Foles the last couple seasons will seize the opportunity to chooses who he sees fit to be the next quarterback of the Vikings. All three of Case Keenum, Sam Bradford, and Teddy Bridgewater are set to become free agents in March when the new league year begins.
The Eagles are now in a sticky situation, especially with the chance of losing both their QB coach and offensive coordinator in a span of two weeks. Eagles OC Frank Reich is set to interview with the Indianapolis Colts for their head coaching position on Friday.
DeFilippo would've been the obvious choice to take over for Reich as Eagles offensive coordinator if he would've left to be the Colts HC, but he and the Vikings had mutual excitement about each other in that role.
