The Eagles' offensive coaching staff took a hit following their Super Bowl LII victory, with quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo accepting an offensive coordinator position with the Minnesota Vikings and offensive coordinator accepting the Indianapolis Colts' vacant head coaching position.
The Eagles were previously said to be between wide receivers coach Mike Groh and running backs coach Duce Staley for the vacant offensive coordinator position. The team previously promoted assistant quarterbacks coach Press Taylor to quarterbacks coach in place of DeFilippo.
According to Ian Rappoport of NFL Network the Eagles will not be promoting either Groh or Staley to offensive coordinator with the plan being to enter the 2018 season without an offensive coordinator:
With the #Eagles having no immediate plans to hire an offensive coordinator to take Frank Reich's job (potentially elevating both Duce Staley and Mike Groh to bigger jobs), all the OC and DC jobs seem to be filled (pending more craziness).

With Doug Pederson handling the offense and still being the team's play caller, the need for an offensive coordinator is not as dire for the Eagles as other teams. Groh and Staley are expected to stay in their current positions while they both take on a bigger role in installing the offensive gameplan for this upcoming season, essentially serving as co-offensive coordinators with Staley specializing in the running game and Groh specializing in the passing game.
