The Philadelphia 76ers kicked off the offseason with minor trade of a second-round pick for a future second-rounder and cash considerations late Wednesday night.
ESPN's Marc Spears looks like he has a source that may know who the Sixers are leaning towards drafting with the No. 10 overall draft pick on Thursday night.
Hearing Sixers very interested in @zhaire_smith with the 10th pick, sources said. He worked out with the Sixers twice. https://t.co/UJw55t2I0w

The Texas Tech guard has worked out with the Sixers twice in back-to-back weeks and from this look, it seems that the Sixers are very interested in making the 19-year-old the selection.
Smith averaged 11.3 points, five rebounds, and almost two assists per game in 37 games for the Red Raiders last season. He has been labeled by many to be a dark horse selection in this draft class and has risen on many experts' mock draft boards in recent weeks. In all likelihood, Smith will be there at 10 for the taking, and he would fit everything the Sixers are looking for at shooting guard, minus the shooting, which is something he still needs to work on.
