Sixers training camp begins in less than a week and the organization is still searching for a new general manager. For a little while, it seemed like Josh Harris and company were content with Brett Brown holding the interim title through the season, but the Sixers look to be zeroing in on a pair of favorites in their search.
According to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Sixers have held a second interview with current Jazz assistant general manager, Justin Zanik. They'll sit down with Houston vice president of basketball operations, Gersson Rosas.

Rosas has spent 18 years with the Houston Rockets and was the Mavericks GM for one season (2013). Meanwhile, Zanik spent several years as an agent before joining the Utah Jazz organization as the assistant general manager in 2012. Zanik worked for the Bucks in 2016, but returned to the Jazz a year later in his assistant GM role.
Whoever the general manager ends up being, Josh Harris has made it clear that they like the staff already in place and that decisions would be collaborative. A lot of times, GM's like to bring in their own staff, so it still remains to be seen whether or not the Sixers go internal or external to fill the position.
