Phillies Eye 10th Series Win Behind Arrieta

The Philadelphia Phillies (30-21) and RHP Jake Arrieta will play for their 10th series win of the season Saturday afternoon in the second of a three-game road set against the Milwaukee Brewers (29-23) at Miller Park. The Phillies have won four of their last five games at the venue since July 16, 2017, despite being outscored 29-27.

The Phillies edged the Brewers, 6-4, in Friday's opener, as Vince Velasquez made his first 2019 appearance as a reliever. Overall, the Phillies bullpen went six innings and allowed just three hits, no runs and one walk while striking out 10 batters.
The Phillies have won six of their last eight games. Prior to the game, the club placed RHP Pat Neshek on the 10-day injured list, transferred RHP David Robertson to the 60-day injured list, and selected the contract of RHP J.D. Hammer from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
