The Philadelphia Phillies have already made one move this offseason to bolster their bullpen, acquiring veteran right-hander Pat Neshek from the Astros for a player to be named later. The club is still in need of more relief help, so they will reportedly be among a number of teams going to see former Royals closer Greg Holland at a showcase in Phoenix, Arizona on the campus of Grand Canyon University.

Former Kansas City Royals closer Greg Holland will put his talents on display for interested MLB clubs on Monday at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz. The showcase will be the first time Holland takes the mound publicly since he allowed two earned runs in a walk-off, extra-innings loss against the Detroit Tigers on Sept. 18, 2015. He had Tommy John surgery the following month and missed the entire 2016 season.
At least 15 teams are said to be interested in the bullpen arm, with the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Miami Marlins, and the San Francisco Giants at the top of the list.
Prior to being shelved with Tommy John surgery, Holland was one of the more dominant closers in baseball. In 309 career games, he's is 18-12 with a 2.42 ERA, 1.123 WHIP, 145 saves and 430 strikeouts across 319.2 innings. Holland was a two-time All-Star with the Royals, saving 47 games in 2013 and 46 in 2014.
Holland, 31, was selected in the 10th round of the 2007 draft by the Kansas City Royals.
