The Philadelphia Flyers (3-5-1)  are back at it again tonight as they travel to Carolina for a battle with the Carolina Hurricanes (2-3-2). This is the second of five meetings between the clubs and the first in Raleigh.

The Flyers defeated the Hurricanes 6-3 back on October 22nd at the Wells Fargo Center. Game time is set for 5:00pm.

It took Brayden Schenn a few games to get going after serving his three games suspension at the start of the season. After a pointless first few games, Schenn has tallied six points in his last five. He has also been moved twice in the lineup. He has played games with Claude Giroux on the top line and moved to the third line for two games.

Last night he was reunited with Giroux and Wayne Simmonds, centering the line at times when Giroux was off for repairs.

Carolina top scorer Victor Rask is off to a great start. The 23 year old pivot has seven points in seven games and leads the team in scoring. He is also a +2 early in the season while averaging roughly 18-19 minutes per game. The Flyers will need to keep an eye on his line all night.

Goalie Matchup

Michal Neuvirth gets the start today for the Flyers. Neuvirth has started just three games so far this season and was pulled in the last two most recently Tuesday night against Buffalo. His performance in the season opener in Los Angeles was brilliant but seems like a far cry from the way he has played over his last few games.

Cam Ward gets the nod for Carolina. Ward is not the goalie he once was but is still very solid. He has put up solid numbers against the Flyers throughout his career. Ward did not play in the Flyers 6-3 victory last Saturday.
