By Denny Basens, Sports Talk Philly staff writer Week 6 NFL Picks

Another week of football is upon us, and with the season starting to reach the midway points of the schedule, games start to become much more crucial to teams with playoff hopes.

Here are this week's predictions.

San Francisco at Buffalo

Desperate for a spark, Chip Kelly has turned the offense over to Colin Kaepernick. I think the move gives the 49ers a temporary lift, and they come away with a road win this week, but moreso because I can't see the Bills winning four straight.

Pick: San Francisco 24, Buffalo 20

Jacksonville at Chicago

Sooner or later, Brian Hoyer is going to revert to the quarterback that was run out of Houston.

Pick: Jacksonville 23, Chicago 20

Los Angeles at Detroit

The Rams are probably set to go on a two or three-game losing streak, inching closer to the dawn of the Jared Goff era.

Pick: Detroit 17, Los Angeles 9

Pittsburgh at Miami

The Dolphins are a dumpster fire. Pittsburgh rolls on the road.

Pick: Pittsburgh 34, Miami 13

Cincinnati at New England

The Tom Brady revenge tour claims its second victim.

Pick: New England 35, Cincinnati 20

Carolina at New Orleans

If the Panthers don't pull together and win this game, it's truly time for panic in Carolina.

Pick: Carolina 31, New Orleans 27

Baltimore at New York

Neither team looks particularly good. It's time for the Giants to end their losing streak, and get Odell Beckham Jr. going at home.

Pick: New York 20, Baltimore 16

Cleveland at Tennessee

How many quarterbacks will take snaps for the Browns before the year is out?

Pick: Tennessee 27, Cleveland 13

Philadelphia at Washington

The Eagles are primed for a bounce-back after last week's letdown, the Redskins are incapable of winning four straight.

Pick: Philadelphia 30, Washington 13

Kansas City at Oakland

Andy Reid's record off of the bye speaks for itself.

Pick: Kansas City 24, Oakland 21

Dallas at Green Bay

The Packers put a stop to the Dallas winning streak.

Pick: Green Bay 31, Dallas 23

Atlanta at Seattle

The 12th man represents the end of the line for the Falcons' surprising winning streak.

Pick: Seattle 27, Atlanta 17

Indianapolis at Houston

The Colts just don't have the depth and firepower to beat out Houston on the road.

Pick: Houston 20, Indianapolis 16

New York at Arizona

The Jets are so out of sorts, I don't think the Cardinals can afford to letdown at home.

Pick: Arizona 31, New York 20
