MIAMI — As they play their 70th road game of the season, the Philadelphia Phillies (62-76) will go for their sixth series sweep of the season, behind veteran RHP Jeremy Hellickson, in opposition of RHP Andrew Cashner and the slumping Miami Marlins (68-71) Wednesday evening at Marlins Park.
Over the last 12 days, the Marlins are 2-10 (.167) and have been outscored 58-36 by their opponents. The Phillies have not fared much better, going 3-8 (.273) with a 52-31 run ratio in favor of their opposition.
