The Double-A Eastern League announced its end-of-season awards on Wednesday with three members of the Reading Fightin' Phils being named as recipients. Dylan Cozens was tabbed as the MVP, Rhys Hoskins won Rookie of the Year and Dusty Wathan is taking home his second consecutive Manager of the Year award.

Cozens was a no-brainer for the Most Valuable Player award, finishing the 2016 regular season with a .276 average to go along with 38 doubles, three triples, 40 home runs, 125 RBIs, 106 runs scored and 21 stolen bases. The 22-year-old slugging outfielder was also the recipient of this year's Joe Bauman Award, honoring the minor leagues' top home run hitter. The Reading Fightin' Phils produced back-to-back MVP's, with Brock Stassi winning the award in 2015.

Hoskins, 23, was named Rookie of the Year after an extremely impressive season at the Double-A level. Selected by the Phillies in the fifth round of the 2014 draft out of Sacramento State, Hoskins hit .281 with 26 doubles, a triple, 38 homers, 116 RBIs, 95 runs scored and eight steals. He finished the season strong, hitting .324 with two homers and seven RBIs over the last 10 games.

Manager Dusty Wathan is the first Eastern League manager to win Manager of the Year in back-to-back season. Wathan is in his fifth season with Reading, compiling a 369-329 record in that span, including a playoff appearances in 2012, 2015 and 2016. Wathan has spent time managing in the Phillies organization since 2008, when he began as the manager for the Phils short season affiliate in Williamsport. He led Class 'A' Lakewood to the 2009 Championship. Over his eight seasons of managing, he's 627-559. Prior to managing, Wathan had a 14-year playing career. He played with six different teams during his career, reaching the big leagues with Kansas City in 2002.

The Reading Fightin Phils begin the Eastern League Divisional Series tonight in Trenton at 7:00 p.m. against the Thunder.
