Think what you may about Howie Roseman, but the team vice president of football operations may have just completed the trade of his career.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, and confirmed by various other reporters, the Philadelphia Eagles have traded quarterback Sam Bradford to the Minnesota Vikings for two draft picks:
Final terms: A #Vikings 1st rounder n 2017 and a 4th rounder for #Eagles QB Sam Bradford.

Of course, this comes days after Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater torn his ACL and dislocated his knee in practice, an injury that will cost him at least the 2015 season. This trade seems to cast doubt on exactly what his future is.
As many have pointed out, future Hall of Fame running back Adrian Peterson, who is 31, may not have a season or two to wait for Bridgewater to come back from injury. So the Vikings appear to have gotten, dare I say, desperate in trading for Peterson's fellow Oklahoma alum Bradford.
The 2017 first round pick makes up for the one that the Eagles traded to the Cleveland Browns in their move to land the No. 2 pick in this past NFL Draft to select Carson Wentz. The Eagles will now have a No. 1 pick in next year's NFL Draft, which they are hosting.
The Bradford deal would seem to cement Chase Daniel as the Week one starter, also at least temporarily pushing Carson Wentz up the depth chart. The guess here is that the Eagles will attempt to sign a veteran quarterback to become the No. 2 quarterback since Wentz missed a good chunk of the preseason.
