The Philadelphia Phillies will make a trio of call-ups for Friday night's game against the Atlanta Braves at Citizens Bank Park, with Darin Ruf, Patrick Schuster and Colton Murray set to join the big league club.

Ruf, 30, will likely serve as a utility outfielder, pinch-hitter and first baseman for the Phillies during September. He was sent down to Triple-A after hitting just .158 with the Phillies through 31 games to start the season. Ruf has had a strong showing in Lehigh Valley, hitting .294 with 18 doubles, two triples, 20 home runs and 65 RBIs. He's hitting .357 over his last 10 games.

Schuster, 25, was claimed off of waivers by the Phillies from the Athletics on August 12. The lefty is 1-0 with a 1.21 ERA over 44.2 minor league innings at the Triple-A level. In five big league games, he's allowed eight earned runs in 6.2 innings.

Murray, 26, returns to the Phillies for the second time this season. In 23 innings this season in red pinstripes, he's 0-1 with a 4.30 ERA. He's 2-2 with a 2.95 ERA with the Ironpigs in 36.2 innings, striking out 36 and walking 15.
