While Maikel Franco, one of the Philadelphia Phillies young offensive stars, was leading the Phillies to a comeback win over the San Francisco Giants Wednesday night, one of his future teammates was having a night he may never top.

Outfielder Dylan Cozens, currently playing for the Double-A Reading Fightins, had about as good of a night as one can have Wednesday, hitting three home runs and a triple, while driving in seven runs and stealing a base.

Cozens, 22, now has 30 home runs and 96 RBIs through Reading's first 103 games of the 2016 season. In their recent re-rank of the Philadelphia Phillies top prospects, Cozens was ranked as the No. 7 prospect in the team's system, perhaps highlighting the amount of young talent in the organization. With J.P. Crawford, Nick Williams and Jake Thompson all seemingly nearing their Major League debuts, Cozens figures to move into the top five of this list within the next year.

Incredibly, Cozens' big night only puts him second on the team in home runs with first baseman Rhys Hoskins hitting his 31st home run Wednesday. As the Eastern League's offcial Twitter account noted, Hoskins and Cozens are in rarefied air as Eastern League teammates with 30 home runs in a season together:

Darin Ruf, who hit 38 home runs for Reading in 2012, owns the current record for most home runs in Fightins' history, just ahead of Ryan Howard. Following his three home run performance, Cozens told Eric Scarcella of Fightins.com that chasing a championship, something that the 73-37 Fightins certainly have a chance to do, is 'definitely' more important to him that trying to surpass Ruf's record.
