One of the Flyers top draft picks this season has signed his first deal.

The Flyers announced that second-round pick Pascal Laberge has signed an entry-level deal, according to GM Ron Hextall.

Laberge was taken with the 36th overall pick in June's draft.

The 18-year-old forward scored 23 goals and added 45 assists for 68 points in 56 games with Victoriaville in the QMJHL. Additionally, Laberge scored two goals and had three points in the 2016 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game and had four points, two goals and two assists, in the World Junior Championship for Team Canada.

Laberge recently participated in the Flyers Development Camp, which closed on Tuesday.

The 6'1", 175-pound forward is among 10 new additions to the Flyers system from the 2016 NHL Draft and the first of those picks to sign an entry-level deal.
