MINNESOTA — The Philadelphia Phillies (30-42) have not won a game since June 13. Before that, June 7. During their current season-high eight-game skid, they have been outscored 67 to 22 by their opponents, allowing double digits in runs in half of the defeats.

Through their first 41 games this season, the Phillies were 24-17 (.585) and trailed the division-leading Washington Nationals by half a game. In their 31 games since, however, they are a MLB-worst 6-25 (.194). They now trail Dusty Baker's Nationals by 13 games, a 12.5-game difference.

Seeking to rebound, the Phillies will oppose the team with the worst overall record in baseball this season — the Minnesota Twins (22-48) — and right-hander Kyle Gibson — who is winless through six starts — Wednesday evening in the second of a three-game series at Target Field.

The Phillies are 147-189 (.438) all-time in interleague play (81-91 at home, 66-98 on the road).
