Eagles defensive lineman Fletcher Cox arrived at mandatory minicamp on Monday and ended speculation of a potential holdout over his contract.
On Tuesday, prior to the team's first day of on-the-field workouts at minicamp, Cox issued the following statement.

Cox had 71 tackles, 9.5 sacks and three forced fumbles in the 2015 season, emerging as the Eagles defensive star. He skipped voluntary workouts as the Eagles and his agent work towards a new deal which will likely make him one of the highest-paid defensive players in the NFL.
Throughout the offseason, new Eagles head coach Doug Pederson and defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz had not heard from Cox as the workouts and minicamp drew near. It wasn't until Monday when Pederson was able to confirm that he had been told Cox would be in attendance.
Doug Pederson is expected to speak to the media at 12 noon on Tuesday before the Eagles first minicamp workout at 1:50 p.m.
