PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Phillies (26-27) — amid a six-game losing streak and having dropped 10 of their last 12 contests — will begin a four-game series against right-hander Chase Anderson and the Milwaukee Brewers (24-29) Thursday evening at Citizens Bank Park.

The Phillies have fallen in nine of their last 10 games against the Brewers at the 12-year-old venue, outscored and outhit 70-44 and 131-93, respectively. They are under .500 for the first time since April 24, the series finale of a three-game set against the Brewers at Miller Park in which Thursday's starter — right-hander Jerad Eickhoff — suffered a loss, allowing seven runs over five and one-third innings.
