According to Meghan Montemurro of The News Journal, reliever Mario Hollands will begin a rehab appearance for the Single A Clearwater Threshers Monday.

As Michael Baumann jokingly said in response, it's hard to be curious about someone that most had forgot existed.
All jokes aside, the 27-year-old had moments of effectiveness during his only big-league season of 2014. In 50 games, Hollands pitched 47 innings, posting a 4.40 ERA and a 3.88 FIP. He had Tommy John Surgery in early April of 2015, which cost him the entire 2015 season and his subsequent rehab has kept him from pitching in actual game action until this point.
Once Hollands completes his rehab, it will be interesting to see what level he pitches at. The Phillies currently have left-handers Elvis Araujo and Brett Oberholtzer in the bullpen. In theory, Hollands could replace Araujo, whose advanced stats suggest he's gotten rather lucky thus far, though Hollands would likely just be holding a spot for Rule-5 pick Daniel Stumpf, who the Phillies will have to keep on their roster following his suspension if they hope to not have to offer him back to the Kansas City Royals organization.
