MILWAUKEE — After Maikel Franco and Aaron Nola propelled the Philadelphia Phillies to a series opening win Friday night, the Phillies will look to clinch a series win over the Milwaukee Brewers Saturday evening when they give Charlie Morton the ball.
The Brewers will counter with 28-year-old righty Chase Anderson, who did lose his most recent start, but didn't allow a run in the first 11 innings that he pitched (his first two starts) this year. He's been the team's best starter thus far, by a fairly wide margin.
The Phillies, who are 8-9, have a chance to climb to .500 for the first time since April 14th with a win tonight, and could set themselves up to finish the weekend with their first winning-record of 2016 as well.

Game Notes:
- For the third consecutive game, the Phillies will have their pitcher bat eighth. Unlike yesterday evening, the Brewers will have their pitcher bat in the traditional ninth spot.
- The Phillies have won two series this season, but have not clinched a series win until at least the third game in any series. A win tonight would allow them to buck that trend.
- Maikel Franco may have been struggling prior to last night's two home-run performance, but he now has four home runs. If you multiply that by eight, Franco would hit 32 home runs in a 496 at-bat season. However, if you multiply his eighth RBIs by eight, he would only finish the season with 64 RBIs in a 496 at-bat season.
