Our Tim Kelly reported earlier Monday that an AFC team was interested in acquiring the veteran running back.
Murray signed a five-year/$40 million contract last offseason as a replacement for the departed LeSean McCoy. The 2014 rushing champion had only 702 yards in his one season with the Eagles. In his final year with the Cowboys, Murray had 1,845.
Murray's unhappiness with the situation in Philadelphia had been reported in the weeks leading up to this reported deal. Despite the Eagles front office declaring Murray's situation as stable, it is evident they wanted to move the expensive back as soon as possible.
Under Murray's deal with the Eagles, the team would save $4M in a trade. They would absorb $4M cap hit.

There is no word on what compensation the Eagles will receive from Tennessee. This information will likely surface on Wednesday when the league year starts.
