The Eagles coaching staff is now complete. With only the defensive line position left to fill, the Eagles announced their final hire to the positional coaching staff on Wednesday.
The Eagles have hired Chris Wilson, the former defensive line coach at Missouri, as the team's new defensive line coach, head coach Doug Pederson announced.
Wilson's coaching career began in 1993 as a graduate assistant for Indiana State. He became the team's linebacker coach a year later in 1994. He bounced around several positions before settling in as defensive line coach at Colorado for five seasons from 2001 to 2005. From 2005 to 2009, Wilson served as a defensive ends coach at Oklahoma, his alma mater.
Wilson moved on to be the defensive line coach and eventually co-defensive coordinator at Georgia from 2010 to 2012. He spent two seasons as the defensive line coach at USC in 2013 and 2014 before moving to Missouri in 2015.
Wilson played four years as a linebacker at Oklahoma from 1988 to 1991, recording 303 tackles. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 12th round of the 1992 NFL Draft.
Following the hiring of Pederson on Jan. 18, the Eagles rounded out the rest of the coaching staff surrounding him in just nine days.
