The NHL and NBA seasons are in full swing and as Winter Storm Jonas moved up the East coast, several games were being cancelled across both leagues, including the Sixers game against the Celtics on Saturday night, which is now on Sunday night at Wells Fargo Center.

The Flyers can join the club.

According to Arthur Staple of Newsday, the Flyers game against the Islanders on Saturday night in Brooklyn has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced.

The Flyers and Islanders join the Washington Capitals in teams that were forced to alter their schedules. The Capitals postponed home games on Saturday against the Anaheim Ducks and Sunday against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Similarly, in addition to the Sixers-Celtics game being moved, the Washington Wizards postponed their game against the Utah Jazz.

The Flyers next take the ice on Monday night when they host the Boston Bruins. Game time is 7 p.m.
