Is Flyers Jordan Weal set to debut on Thursday?
Make way for the newest Flyer. It sounds like Jordan Weal is going to get his first chance to play for the Flyers since being acquired from the Los Angeles Kings.
Dave Hakstol said there is a "decent" chance that Weal cracks the lineup, but nothing will be decided until after the morning skate in Pittsburgh on Thursday.
How Weal would fit into the lineup remains to be seen.
Weal told reporters that Sean Couturier was "50-50" to play on Thursday after missing practice, but Hakstol confirmed that was just a maintenance day.
The Flyers could also make a change to the fourth line. R.J. Umberger and Scott Laughton struggled mightily in Tuesday's loss to the Maple Leafs, which could open the door to a change in the lineup.
The Flyers face the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
