The 2015 Reading Fightin' Phils made it all the way to the championship round of the playoffs before losing to the Bowie Baysox. But even in lean years, attendance at First Energy Stadium (formerly Reading Municipal Stadium) has always been very strong. Heading into 2016, the Fightin' Phils found another way to add some seats to their popular stadium experience, and it is very, very unique.
In an email sent to fans earlier, the Phillies AA affiliate described the new experience:
The Savage61 Dugout Suite will be located on the first base side of FirstEnergy Stadium and will feature a customized VIP experience for Fightins fans. Sitting 18 inches below ground level, the authentic dugout area accommodates 56 people and features comfortable seating incredibly close to the action on field, personal waitress service, and the option to purchase the Dugout Suite-exclusive Bull's BBQ, all-you-can-eat buffet, and open bar with beer, wine, and mixed drinks. A ticket to the Dugout Suite also allows access to a pre-game cocktail warning track party where you can meet members of the Fightins team.
The addition is the first major addition since 2011, when the Fightin' Phils added the VIST Financial Plaza, which includes additional concessions and a new entrance to the park.
Tickets are just $25 each.
