While the 2015-16 Sixers continue to spiral into the depth of NBA embarrassment, one bright side of "the process", believe it or not, looks to be the recovery process of 2014 third overall pick, Joel Embiid. After missing all of last season with a foot injury, Embiid had a setback in his recovery, a process he had allegedly been lazy with, and needed to undergo a second surgery on his navicular bone in his left foot. Last week, videos surfaced of Embiid in warmups without his walking boot, which could indicate that he is right on schedule in his recovery. If he returns next season and remains healthy, the Sixers will have a good big-man problem on their hand with three phenomenal talents.
Fans haven't gotten to see to much of Joel up close until recently, when he posted a picture of himself on Instagram. To put it lightly, he is ripped. The former Kansas Jayhawk looks like Dwight Howard in his younger days. Embiid uses some humor in his captain, saying that shirley temples are the reason he looks the way he does.

Embiid, who averaged 11.2 points and 8.1 rebounds in his only season with Kansas could add additional post presence to the already improving tandem of Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor. The question is, if Embiid comes back healthy and ready to go, do the Sixers stick with all three or do they trade one? If so, who do they deal? At this point, it is just good to see Embiid keeping up with his recovery, which will hopefully lead him to his first game in a Sixers uniform next season.
