Instant Analysis
The Flyers continued to have trouble staying out of the box, but their kills were getting stronger as the night went on. But after scoring on their only power play of the game so far — a rocket of a shot for Shayne Gostisbehere — the Stars turned up the pressure and started to really pin the Flyers in the zone.
The lead was nice while it lasted, but Dallas has been coming with insane pressure all game and it finally paid off in two late goals. No fault to Neuvirth on either of the goals. The Flyers have been on their heels for most of the game. The Flyers are going to have to find another gear if they want to remain even competitive in this game, let alone tie it up.
