There was injury added to the insult of a 4-1 loss to Columbus on Saturday.

Defenseman Luke Schenn suffered an ankle injury late in the game on Saturday and will miss two weeks with a lower-body injury, according to Flyers GM Ron Hextall.

The Flyers have yet to make a corresponding move to accommodate for Schenn's absence. Radko Gudas will miss Tuesday's game serving the final game of a three-game suspension. Mark Streit is still three weeks away from returning from his injury.

The Flyers will likely call up a defenseman from the Phantoms for the one-game while Gudas remains out. Davis Drewiske and Mark Alt would be prime candidates.

Schenn has two goals and three assists and is a minus-9 in 23 games this season.

The Flyers host the New York Islanders on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
