The beaten and battered Flyers lineup is close to returning to its original state.

Two of the Flyers injured players are set to return as R.J. Umberger and Ryan White were activated off injured reserve on Saturday afternoon.

To make room on the roster for both, the Flyers returned forwards Colin McDonald and Nick Cousins to the Phantoms.

McDonald had one goal in five games with the Flyers, while Cousins had no points in four games.

Umberger has no goals and four assists in 11 games this season while White has one goal and two assists in 17 games.

Also on the injured list, both Sam Gagner and Mark Streit have been skating. Gagner remains out after suffering a cut to the face from a hit on Nov. 23, while Streit said he feels "better than expected" but his timetable for return remains the same.

The Flyers host the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
