After months of rehabilitation, Sixers guard Tony Wroten will make his season debut on Saturday against the Nuggets. Wroten has been out of action since he tore his ACL for the second time in his career in January.
“I feel like I would never see December,” Wroten said before Tuesday’s game against the Lakers. “To be less than a week away is exciting.”

In 30 games last season, Wroten scored 16.9 points on average, which should take some of the scoring pressure off of Jahlil Okafor, who will serve the second half of his two-game suspension on Saturday.
To make room for Wroten on the roster, the Sixers waived speedy point guard Phil Pressey. In 14 games this season with Philadelphia, Pressey averaged 3.9 points and 3.3 assists.
The Sixers also recalled guard Kendall Marshall from the D-League, but he is still unlikely to play tomorrow. His recovery was originally on track with Wroten, but his rehab has progressed slower than hoped.
