Hunter Pence was a Phillie from one trade deadline to another, but he captured much of Philadelphia's heart. Heck, Pence was even a front page story in 2012 in Philadelphia Magazine with the title, "The Next Great Phillie". The piece by John Gonzalez, "The Old-School Passion of Hunter Pence", captured much of what Philadelphians loved about him. Surely he captured a few female's hearts while in Philadelphia. But those ladies are out of luck: Hunter Pence is engaged.
Pence's fiancee, Alexis Cozombolidis, broke the news on Twitter:
