Petr Straka extended his goal-scoring streak to five-consecutive games on Saturday, but it was the only offense the Phantoms could muster, as they fell 3-1 to the Hartford Wolf Pack.

Straka scored his 11th of the season — tying him with Texas' Devin Shore for the American League's lead — at 3:43 of the second period. Nick Cousins and Mark Alt earned helpers on the goal.

The Wolf Pack jumped out to an early lead, making it a 2-0 game in the first 3:31. scored just 29 seconds into the game, with Luke Adam assisting. Adam would extend the lead to 2 just three minutes later.

Ex-NHLer Tanner Glass registered an insurance marker for the Wolf Pack at 17:22 of the third period, giving them a two-goal lead on a late power play — their only goal in four opportunities on the man-advantage. The Phantoms were scoreless on two power play chances.

In his second start of the weekend, Anthony Stolarz made 23 saves on 26 shots. Mackenzie Skapski saved 23 of 24 shots between the Wolf Pack's pipes.

The Phantoms next head to Providence, R.I. for a Sunday matchup with the Providence Bruins — a team they just beat 4-1 on Friday.
