Foster suffers torn Achilles: Arian Foster just can't catch a break when it comes to injuries.
The Texans running back tore his Achilles tendon in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 44-26 loss to the Dolphins.
The 29-year-old was seen on crutches after the game. When asked about the severity of the injury, he said, "Not yet, but it's not good."
The Dolphins took a 44-0 lead heading into halftime and elected to rest their key starters. Despite the game being out of reach in the fourth quarter, Texans head coach Bill O'Brien elected to keep Foster in the game. During a post-game interview, O'Brien was asked if he regretted his decision to keep Foster in.
"I think there were between four and five minutes left in the game, and we were trying to get a touchdown there," O'Brien said, via ESPN. "So, no."
Foster has suffered a plethora of injuries over the last few seasons including multiple hamstring-related ones. He had just returned from a groin injury he suffered during training camp.
Hardy and Bryant exchange heated words on sidelines: Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy and injured wide receiver Dez Bryant got into a heated exchange during the tail end of Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Giants.
The exchange came just moments after Hardy had intruded the special teams huddle to scold his teammates after they had allowed Giants returner and former Cowboy Dwayne Harris to return a kickoff for a 100-yard touchdown.
"There is no issue," Bryant said after the game, via ESPN. "That's just football. People want to make nothing into something, especially when we lose. That's just football."
Hardy refused to discuss the confrontation after the game, saying "no comment" to every reporter question.

Danny McCray, a member of the special teams unit, talked about Hardy's passion for the game and how it translated to the scene in the special teams huddle.
"Greg Hardy is such a passionate player,'' McCray said, via ESPN. "He's all over the place. He's in the defensive huddle, the offensive huddle, and today he made our special-teams huddle. I was a little surprised he was in there. I didn't realize who it was. Then I realized it was Greg. He was showing his passion that we gave up the lead and we needed to fix it."
The Cowboys would force Eli Manning and the Giants' offense to punt with 1:36 left in the fourth quarter, but punt returner Cole Beasley botched the catch and the Giants recovered to seal the win.
After the game, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett talked about the importance of having passionate players on a football team in light of Hardy's actions.
"To be a good football player and a good football team, you have to have passion and put it all out there. Sometimes in a game, things don't go well and you have a response. A pro football coach and a pro football team understand that those things happen. You want the guys with passion."
Giants to re-examine JPP's hand Tuesday: Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is still looking to make a comeback in 2015 to help the first place Giants' defensive front.
The 26-year-old plans to meet with team doctors Tuesday to reevaluate his hand that he injured during a July 4 fireworks incident.
Tuesday's meeting would mark just the second time the two parties have met since the injury. After their last meeting on Sept. 7, Pierre-Paul tried to convince the Giants that he could play if he found a way to protect his hand, but the Giants deemed he wasn't ready.
Pierre-Paul has been working out and getting into football shape. According to ESPN, sources close to him say that the defensive end believes he could play right away if the Giants allow him to. However, the chances that the Giants let him play at all this season are still considered thin.
The two-time Pro Bowl selection has yet to sign the $14.8 million tender the Giants offered him back in March. If he agrees to sign it, the Giants could revoke it, making him a free agent, or they could place him on the non-football injury list, which would effectively end his season and get the Giants off the hook for his salary.
At this point, it appears the only way Pierre-Paul will suit up for the Giants in 2015 is if he is willing to play at a reduced salary. With the Giants currently in first place in the NFC East, it might behoove Pierre-Paul to take the pay cut if he wants to play for a potential postseason contender.
