The Philadelphia Eagles appear to be avoiding the term "Redskins" for the name of Washington's professional football team.
This is interesting. The #Eagles appear to have wiped the name #Redskins from this week's weekly media guide. #NFL pic.twitter.com/VgA9ksVrbi

The "Redskins" team name has recently been the subject of controversy, as the name can be seen as disrespectful to people with Native Americans heritage. Many have petitioned for Washington to change their team name, but the organization had been adamant about not doing so.
Also, the Eagles don't use Washington's team name on any social media outlets. Eagles head coach Chip Kelly didn't appear to want to say the term in today's press conference.
Eagles starting quarterback Sam Bradford and left guard Allen Barbre both have Native American backgrounds.
