Prior to a Week 2 divisional battle with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon, the Philadelphia Eagles have released their final injury report.
Outside linebacker Marcus Smith is listed as probable to play. It seems that he has fully recovered from a hamstring injury suffered in the preseason during joint-practice with the Baltimore Ravens. Keep an eye on Smith to see how much he actually plays in this game.
The only player listed as out for this game is wide receiver Seyi Ajirotutu, who has yet to pass the NFL's mandatory concussion protocol. He suffered a concussion in Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons.
While the Eagles are nearly at full strength heading into what many are calling a must-win game, the Cowboys are dealing with key injuries and suspensions.
All-Pro wide receiver Dez Bryant is out for this game with a foot injury and is expected to be out for an extended period of time. He scorched the Eagles in the last match-up, scoring on three touchdown catches.
Rookie pass rusher Randy Gregory also won't be playing on Sunday. He suffered an ankle injury during the team's Week 1 victory over the New York Giants.
Starting left guard Ronald Leary has been labeled doubtful to play after missing all of practice this week with a groin injury. Mackenzy Bernadeau will likely play in his place.
Backup tight end James Hanna is listed as questionable with an injury to his knee.
Defensive end Greg Hardy and middle linebacker Rolando McClain are not available for Dallas, as both players are still serving out four-game suspensions.
It seems that the Eagles are playing the Cowboys at the right time, it will be intriguing to see if the birds can take advantage of the decimated Cowboys roster.
