The Lehigh Valley Phantoms have re-signed goaltenders Martin Ouellette and Connor Knapp to AHL contracts. Both transactions were announced last night by Flyers assistant GM Barry Hanrahan.

Ouellette, 23, appeared in a total of 8 games for the Phantoms last season, compiling a 3-2 record along with a 2.90 GAA and an .890 save percentage. He spent the majority of the season with Lehigh Valley's ECHL affiiate, the Reading Royals.

With Reading, he was 17-10-2 with a 2.91 GAA and a .907 save percentage. He is expected to be third on the Phantoms depth chart behind newly-signed veteran Jason LaBarbera and the returning Anthony Stolarz.

Knapp, 25, appeared in 41 games in Reading last season, going 24-11-4 with a 2.58 GAA and a .915 save percentage. He dressed as the backup for one game last season with the Phantoms, but never made an appearance. He will battle with Ouellette for the starting job in Reading.
