The Philadelphia Phillies have recalled right handed relief pitcher Hector Neris from the Triple-A Lehigh Valley IronPigs, according to Lehigh Valley IronPigs beat writer for The Morning Call, Tom Housenick.
Hector Neris is 1-3 wit a 3.62 ERA in 27 appearances with @IronPigs. Has allowed 1 ER in 3 of his last 4 appearances. Headed to @Phillies

Over three career appearances in the major leagues, dating back to his debut and only appearance last season on August 5, 2014, Neris is 1-0 over 3.2 shutout innings.
Earlier this morning, we hinted that either David Buchanan or Aaron Nola would be looked at to replace Sean O'Sullivan, who was outrighted off of the 40-man roster.
Considering the Phillies' bullpen threw a combined 59 pitches last night in relief, this move is likely only to sure up the bullpen before O'Sullivan's spot in the rotation comes back around on Saturday, against the San Francisco Giants.
