The NHL Draft is just under one month away. Before getting to that draft, the Flyers continued to ensure that the 2014 class remains a part of their future.

On Thursday, the Flyers signed 2014 sixth-round pick Radel Fazleev to a three-year entry-level contract.

Fazleev, a teammate of first-round pick Travis Sanheim on the Calgary Hitmen, scored 18 goals and added 33 assists for 51 points in 71 games this season. The 19-year-old also had 14 points in 17 playoff games this season in the WHL.

Fazleev still has one season of junior eligibility left, so it is expected he and Sanheim will reunite for another season in Calgary.

Four of the Flyers six draft picks from the 2014 Draft have been signed to entry-level deals, with the only exceptions being third-round pick Mark Friedman and fifth-round pick Oskar Lindblom.
