Philly fans look bad as Phillies fan snatches home run ball from woman on Arizona television

Snatch

More bad press for Philadelphia fans today as the Diamondbacks broadcast on Fox Sports Arizona highlighted some inconsiderate behavior from a Phillies fan during today's broadcast.   As a woman bent over to pick up Maikel Franco's first Major League home run ball, a male Phillies fan who was much younger raced over, and almost snatched it out of her hands.

The Phillies broadcast did not dwell on the incident.  But the Diamondbacks broadcast? They took it as an opportunity to highlight Philadelphia fans' behavior.  That is much better than reporting on your team getting swept by the team with the worst record in baseball coming into the series, I suppose.

Watch the video below.  Anyone know who this guy is?  Luckily, MLB.com did not show the man stealing the ball in their highlights.

(Note: our original video we embedded got removed, but you can view it here on DailyMail.

UPDATE – 11:23 p.m.:
Reader Pat Scott found the guy who did it.  His name is Jim Bergen and was bragging that he has the ball on a Facebook post on the Phillies official Facebook page:
