Game 2 of the QMJHL's President Cup final on Friday saw Samuel Morin go without a point, coupled with two penalty minutes and a minus-1 rating, as the Rimouski Québec lost 4-1 to fall 2-0 in the series.
However, Morin rebounded in Sunday's third game with two assists — one of three Océanic players to record a multi-point game — as they won 4-2. Québec now leads that series by a 2-1 margin, with Game 4 set for Wednesday at Colisée Pepsi.
In the WHL Championship, Tyrell Goulbourne has yet to return to the Kelowna Rockets' lineup, but the Rockets are getting along OK without him. They lead Brandon 3-0, and have a chance to advance to the Memorial Cup with a win on Wednesday. Goulbourne's return to the lineup is still to be determined.
