The Phillies currently have an all-lefthanded outfield, none with real power. Rule 5 pick from the Texas Rangers organization, Odubel Herrera, has played himself into the starting lineup, and rightfully so. In some respects, the Phillies seem to be a bit redundant with Herrera and former centerfielder Ben Revere in the lineup together, both as left-handed hitters.
Thus, Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that Revere is available in trade:
Available players in final days of spring include #DBacks’ Hill, #Phillies’ Revere, #Padres’ Maybin. Difficult to move $$ this time of year.

While Rosenthal is correct that money is difficult to move at this stage, Revere has a very reasonable $4.1 million contract. The Phillies could eat some, if necessary, to get a piece back.
Herrera seems to have negated the need for Revere. By letting Herrera play all season, he will become Phillies property. Compared to Revere, who is already in his arbitration years, the Phillies would have a much longer contractual relationship with Herrera. So, if the Phillies can pick up another piece for Revere, perhaps a starter as I suggested recently, it would be a wise baseball decision.
