On Wednesday, before the news of DeMarco Murray broke, the Eagles had an agreement in place with former Chargers running back Ryan Mathews.

Now it appears the signing of Murray hasn't derailed the agreement between the two parties.

After making a scheduled visit with the Eagles, Mathews is still signing with the team according to Ian Rappaport of NFL Network and Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Mathews, who is here on a three-year, $11.5 million deal, is entering his sixth NFL season in 2015.

In his five previous seasons, all with the Chargers, Mathews played in 60 games and rushed for 4,061 yards and 23 touchdowns.

In 2014, Mathews only played six games before battling knee and ankle injuries for the remainder of the season. He rushed for 380 yards and three touchdowns in the six games.
