Signing Franklin would instantly give the Eagles one of the best offensive lines in football. From left to right, the line would consist of: Jason Peters, Evan Mathis, Jason Kelce, Orlando Franklin, and Lane Johnson.
Franklin also brings versatility, which is something the Eagles crave. He played right tackle for the Broncos earlier in his career before switching to guard. So he could provide cover for the Birds if an injury arises.
However, the Eagles are reportedly facing competition for his signature, with the San Diego Chargers reportedly interested in retaining his services.
