The Phillies Triple-A affiliate may not be where all of the top prospects are, but the Ironpigs have another great year of giveaways as they released their promotional schedule today on their official site.
In addition to the Minor League Baseball trademark fireworks friday night, the Ironpigs have unveiled their three bobbleheads that will be given away. The most unique is that of Maikel Franco, who will be featured on a unicycle, commemorating the game last season he hit for the cycle against the Syracuse Chiefs. That giveaway is set for April 11th. If you can't make it on Saturday, that's okay, because the Ironpigs will be giving out Charlie Manuel bobbleheads on Monday, April 13th, to honor the winningest manager in Phillies history. On Monday, May 11th, the 'Pigs will give out bobbleheads of Ken Giles. An odometer will be on the base of the figure, recognizing how hard Giles throws.
The Ironpigs will also debut T-Shirt Tuesdays this year and will begin on April 14th with a commemorative Jackie Robinson T-Shirt Giveaway. T-shirts will be given away every other Tuesday night home game.
Some other items being distributed this season include an Ironpigs Ice Cream Scoop on June 18th, a Hot & Cold Pack on July 9th and Player T-Shirt voted on by the fans on September 6th.
The Phillie Phanatic will visit Coca-Cola Park on June 15th and July 26th. To view the full release of promotions, click here.
