As usual, the Flyers' prospects across their network of leagues across North America and the world were quite active this weekend. Nicolas Aube-Kubel continued to electrify the Quebec League this month, Travis Sanheim returned to action, the Phantoms split back-to-back games and the Royals expanded their winning streak. Take a look at how tomorrow's Flyers have fared after the jump.

Juniors

Nicolas Aube-Kubel scored a pair of goals this weekend scoring a goal en route to the Val-d'Or Foreurs' 4-2 win over the Sherbrooke Phoenix and scoring in the first period of Sunday's 8-5 loss to the Gatineau Olympiques. Aube-Kubel now has a five-game scoring streak.

After missing several games due to a lower-body injury, Travis Sanheim returned to the Calgary Hitmen lineup for games on Friday and Saturday, recording four assists. Sanheim assisted on fellow Flyers prospect Radel Fazleev's opening goal 14 seconds into the first period of Friday's game against the Swift Current Broncos, recorded two assists in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings and assisted on an Adam Tambellini goal in Sunday's 8-0 win over the Vancouver Giants.

Samuel Morin scored a goal and assist in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, and recorded an assist in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Chicoutimi Saguenéens.

American League

The Phantoms split a pair of back-to-back games this weekend, losing 4-2 to Syracuse on Friday and beating St. John's 4-3 on Saturday. Kevin Goumas and Petr Straka scored in both games, while Andrew Gordon and Taylor Leier added goals against the IceCaps. With 13 goals, Gordon is tied with Nick Cousins for the team lead.

Anthony Stolarz registered 30 saves on 34 shots against the Crunch, while Martin Ouellette made 23 saves on 26 shots against the IceCaps.

As the Phantoms' lone representative at the AHL All-Star Classic, Brandon Manning competed in its Skills Competition on Sunday. He registered a 97-mph slapshot in the CCM Hardest Shot competition, and scored in the Panasonic Breakaway Relay on Oklahoma City's Richard Bachman. You can watch Manning and the rest of the AHL's best at 7 p.m. on The Comcast Network.

The Phantoms will send Ryan White to the Flyers, following the announcement of Zac Rinaldo's suspension. In 11 games, White has a goal, three points and 39 penalty minutes.

With a 20-16-4-1 record, Terry Murray's squad sits at third place in the East Division with 45 points — five behind Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for second and six behind Hershey for first.

ECHL

The Royals headed down south this weekend for a back-to-back set with the South Carolina Stingrays on Saturday and the Gwinnett Gladiators on Sunday, winning by scores of 2-1 and 6-3, respectively.

Andrew Johnston and Ian Watters scored against the Stingrays, while Connor Knapp posted a masterful 38 saves on 39 shots.

Five different Royals — Matt Hatch, Adam Hughesman twice, Maxim Lamarche, Olivier Labelle and Pat Mullane — each found the back of the net against the Gladiators, while their power play was stalwart in a 4-for-6 effort. Kenny Reiter turned away 20 of 23 shots in the cage.

Despite a winning streak that stands at four games now, the Royals (25-13-1-1) still sit third in the East Division with 53 points — one point behind Greenville and four behind Florida.
