A few tidbits on the Flyers came out on Wednesday as the All-Star break began for the Orange and Black.

Here is the latest.

Zac Rinaldo is definitely going to face disciplinary action from the NHL following his boarding major on Kris Letang on Tuesday night. Rinaldo's has an phone hearing scheduled for Monday at 12:30, the day before the Flyers return to the ice to face the Arizona Coyotes.

GM Ron Hextall also updated the injuries to both Scott Laughton and Kimmo Timonen.

Laughton remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Speculation was that Laughton suffered a concussion due to a hard hit by Matt Niskanen in Washington last Wednesday, but the Flyers have not disclosed the injury.

The Flyers also said there is no update on Timonen at this time. Timonen's test results on blood clots in his lungs and leg were mixed, as the clot in his lungs was gone but the one in his leg remained.

Hextall said the doctors will have the final say on whether Timonen can attempt a comeback. A decision will likely come in another day or two, but Hextall added that he didn't want to make a decision and pull back on it.
