Earlier this week, both Ben Revere and Domonic Brown filed for salary arbitration. Kevin Cooney of the Bucks County Courier Times reports that both Brown and Revere have reached one-year agreements with the Phillies.

One of the most controversial players on the team, Domonic Brown regressed last year and that doesn't really fully explain his less than mediocre play. Last season, Brown, 27, made just $550,000, so while fans may not believe a raise was in the cards, Browns 2013 season likely earned him the bump to $2.5 million. Dom hit .235 in 512 plate appearances last season for the Phillies while posting a -1.6 in defensive wins above replacement.
Meanwhile, Revere, 26, made $1.95 million last season and will be bumped to just over four million in 2015. The Phillies primary center fielder hit .306 last season, mostly for singles, while stealing 49 bases. Though he has made a handful of highlight reel catches, Revere's lack of arm strength leaves plenty to be desired. That being said, he looks to be the starter again for the Phillies this season center.
