Clippers Targeting Sixers Guard Tony Wroten

First reported by Orange County Register's Dan Woike, and later confirmed by CSN Philly's John Gonzalez, the Los Angeles Clippers have interest in acquiring Sixers guard Tony Wroten.

It is presumed that this potential move would be separate from the Clippers' Jared Cunningham trade to Philadelphia, which was announced earlier this afternoon by Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

Wroten, 21, has played in 98 games and started in 31 over two seasons thus far with the Sixers. He was drafted in the first round, 25th overall, of the 2012 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies.

In the 2012-2013 season with Memphis, Wroten averaged 2.6 points per gamea over 7.8 minutes per game. Upon joining the Sixers via trade on August 22, 2013, Wroten's numbers have incrementally risen seemingly across the board, as seen below. His offensive production has especially improved, increasing to 13.0 points per game last season, and 17.4 points per game thus far in this year's campaign.
