The Eagles' firing of Tom Gamble, VP of Player Personnel, Wednesday afternoon has left the question whether or not Chip Kelly truly has "power" over general manager Howie Roseman.
There has been growing speculation on Twitter since then that Chip is unhappy with his status within the organization. Friday afternoon, ProFootballTalk sparked the conversation even further:

Darren DeGaetano, former producer at SportsRadio 610 WIP and NFL Films, and current talk show host on Wildfire Radio, adds:

In two seasons as coach of the Eagles, Kelly is 20-12 (.625 winning percentage), and has one playoff appearance, a loss to the New Orleans Saints in the 2013 NFC Wildcard round. He joined the Eagles nearly two years ago today, on January 16, 2013, after being the Oregon Ducks' head coach from 2009 to 2012.
