We are well-aware by now that Phillies outfielder Domonic Brown is a Dallas Cowboys fan. However, it turns out that Cowboys fans can contribute positive things to the world.   Tonight, Brown will be on hand at a Brunswick, Georgia church to donate toys to the less fortunate during the holiday season.

Television station WSAV from Savannah, Georgia, reports that Brown will be handing out toys tonight to needy families:

Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Domonic Brown will once again be helping brighten this Christmas season for local families. The major leaguer will be on hand to give out 2000 toys in Brunswick at 7pm, December 23rd at Bibleway International on 600 Bay Street where his mother serves as pastor.

Brown's mother, Apostle Rosemary Woods, recently celebrated her 22nd anniversary as pastor.

The Church's website says that Brown's contributions are among the organization's greater mission:

Domonic Brown from the Philadelphia Phillies along with our organization provided over 3,000 toys this year to children who were in need at our annual Christmas Festival. We provided each child with a toy for Christmas along with a goodie bag. We also provided the children with live entertainment while they waited in line for their toy. This is one of our many events that we host for the community free of charge. Our organization belives that everyone is entitled to a hot meal, a shower, and a place to live regardless of their race, gender or financial circumstances. People who do not have money for the holidays or even a regular day are able to come to our organization and get the help that they need for the week. Every Friday we see more people who are in need of food or financial assitance. That is why we need your help by donating to our organization you will be helping to change lives.By donating to our organization you will be giving the gift of food to families who would have to go without electricity just to have food to eat. We thank you in advance for all your support and may God continue to bless you!

Brown was also busy at the Church for Thanksgiving:

Brown grew up in the community in Georgia before finishing high school in Zephyrhills, Florida.
